Hey, I wasn’t looking to start a fight. i meant no disrespect and i’m sorry what i said made you feel it was ok to attack me. I was simply giving my opinion and if you just want to rant then by all means carry on and i hope that it helps you to relieve some of that anger and frustration.
For the record, I was 20 years old when i started working as an affiliate manager and frankly just needed the work. It taught me about a lucrative industry but after witnessing shady activity i quit and instead took the opportunity to capitalize on what i learned about the business and became an affiliate myself.
At the very least i hope that we can respectfully agree to disagree. But i would like to leave you with a parting thought that you may well find as useless as the opinions i expressed earlier…
When you work with companies that knowingly violate the law can you really expect them to honor their agreements with you; especially when the **** hits the fan? Just the nature of their business should tell you everything you need to know about the kind of people you’re dealing with. You could have promoted something safe and legit but no, like countless others, including me, you took a gamble on the US casinos because the returns were so high. Nothing wrong with that. When times were good they were good for all of us but i’m sure you’ve been following the news since Black Friday and you must realize the risks that operators take and the consequences they face so when they feel the need to call it quits then i’m sorry, but to think it won’t affect us as affiliates is naiive at best.
I really don’t have anything more to contribute to this thread and perhaps you’re too upset to consider what i’m saying now, but i hope that at some point you will think about what i’ve said because i do feel for your position as i am in the same boat and i wish all us affiliates well during these difficult times.
