You have no chance, unless you are a lawyer yourself.
I defended myself pro se in a case ( big monied company against little old me ) after a lawyer wanted $5,000 just for a retainer.
I estimate the company spent at least $100,000 on lawyers for themselves
I am no lawyer but at least I could respond to the complaint and some added tricks on their part.
In the end I was .. up a creek!
