While I like the idea in principle – we’re unlikely to take part.
1) Client Selection
We have a global focus (Europe, Asia and North America) and only want a handful of casinos / sportsbooks and poker rooms for each region – effectively the best of the best. I suspect that the number of new deals that we would want in 2010 – perhaps 2-3 in total – would be below the threshold required to be a regularly active participant.2) Ownership and Control
I still like the idea of making deals, and terminating non-performing partners on my own terms. I would not like to be required to continue to participate in an arrangement that was not performing satisfactorily on my sites.Good luck with it though -it could work well if you can aggregate a group of like minded sites.

Good points.
I don’t think the entire group is always going to want to participate in any one deal.
I will only deal with places that are approved by AGD and not rogued or warned against at Casinomeister, for example.
Some of us may already have maxed out deals with some programs.
So maybe it would be in the form of someone posting a proposed deal, and people opting in or out for that particular deal. If we have enough people to make it work, we accept, if not, we decline.
I can see how not everyone will want to participate in every proposed deal, nor should we have to.
But – as a group, we would most certainly have a lot of clout…
