I agree with pjotter paying commissions and proper tracking are the top priorities with out them you don’t have a program. I also think being part of a community can be beneficial. But 99% of my affiliates have a personal affiliate manager and have my info to contact me any time and they do. If issues arise and get fixed in a timely matter do they need to be called out by an affiliate in the forums who just started? (has not happened but have seen it)
That is up to affiliates to decide.
I think a free flow of ideas and information helps us all be better and more successful – but the big question is the community strong enough to make real changes at CAP – what would you see as a perfect CAP for both sides?
