That’s a drag.
Most of the people I asked said it used to rock when it was in Miami and it was a big vacation for industry peers doing more notworking than networking. So the idea that it would go this way again won out. Yes there was some miss communication, and yes we should have done more. I say this speaking as the newly appointed marketing arm.
So that was what I thought this going to be, and well now we know better. Please keep in mind I’m the new guy here, on the job for only 26 days now.

It’s also a drag that not having a good time at what was essentially billed as a party would set you off to make such a big professional leap?
Do you not get paying clients at these events?
Really look at it?
It would be like me saying I’ll never speak at SES San Jose again because at Search Bash I paid for premium drinks.
Or like if I quit working with a new client just because the company had become un-popular in the last few months.
