Hi Dominique,

Actually given all the terrible things that were said about us, I’d prefer if the report was not ignored. In the end, it was proved that only one player was missing and for a pretty good reason. I bet you’ll find this to be the case in most tracking systems under the conditions that Peralis deposited. The report was successful and proved us to be honest and that we tracked all the deposits.

Our new system to be implemented Monday will be completely cookiless. The last affiliate that referred the player will get the credit and there is no TTL on the cookie since there won’t be one. We feel this is the ideal and most fair way to do things and we’re very thankful for being made aware of this now and not further along.

Lastly, I am far from new to the industry as I’ve been in it for over 5 years and pretty much every show :) Don’t you remember me? Thanks again for helping us clear this up. I’m hoping you’ll give us another shot with your US traffic.

BR,

JC.

Well, I think we can all say that the report was flawed and should largely be ignored.

Please do make your cookies for 90 days and overwriteable by another aff cookie. I know you are new to the industry, but the current set up allows for some affiliates to gain an unfair advantage and monopolize the acquisition of Rome players. We have such cases in history.

Other than that, I don’t see a problem.

In the case of the tester with the cleared cookie plus dynamic IP – unfortunately we do lose players with this going on everywhere.
