For those who are not attending the London events, but look to CAP and/or GPWA as places for knowledge, news and cameraderie, they don’t deserve these distractions. It’s wholly unprofessional.

Spot on Deb – I wish I had written that.

I am truly disappointed on the entire CAP vs GPWA situation – actually disappointed is too light a term, but I’ll leave it for that.

In my opinion, CAP and the GPWA have lost their focus and are alienating everyone – affiliates and affiliate managers – with this back and forth bru ha ha. No one needs this. We have two major events coming up, and the last thing we need is this BS.

I only wish the the energy and resources that have been put into this mess would have been redirected into something more positive. The affiliate and player realm needs vast improvement – not much has changed since the early cowboy days of online gaming – I’ve been in this business longer than most people and I can attest to this. Webmasters, players, and affiliate managers anticipate that organizations and programs are here to improve the gaming environment, not to tear it up.

I look at CAP and the GPWA, and I am expecting much more than what I am seeing. You have the power to better the gaming environment; that should be your focus.
