ahhh I just had a nice long post with more info and I hit ‘reply’ and the page timed out on me and lost it.
It’s all good, I think some good convos came out of this argument but I’ll try to give my POV on a few things and hope that helps.
Regarding the popup issue:
If I do the popup the first time, I’m going to receive complaints when I don’t use it for the future and thus far nobody has complained about our system other than to ask livechat how much they have left to wager when it’s available to them in the cashier. I think players feel content knowing they can find it here. So by having the wagering totals in the cashier I think some players respect we have it there.
A little more on some stats about the ND.
Most players who wager 100% to 200% of the wagering will usually end up on the bonus ban list at some point so my popup might encourage them to cashin when they can. Sure they are free to do so but over time this isn’t profitable for the casino (but it is for the player). It’s very rare that a player who has met the wagering with a balance over $500 has kept playing and lost it all. Most know their max cashout is $150 so they keep playing because they have the balance and it gives them a chance to try out more games. That being said, their wagering totals and their first cashout on this $150 doesn’t tell me if they will be bonus banned or become my best player but on average ones who wager more end up getting more rewards. Most players when they do end up meeting the wagering have an average balance of $50 so they have to keep wagering if they want to cashin. When all is said and done most players don’t get caught up in how much they have to wager.
“that said; things have somewhat twisted from my original point which was why is it that the casino feels threatened by the player when they reach that magic number of $150?
Why force them to cash out and then deposit if they want to continue playing? … if they’ve beaten the requirments. That’s the part that doesn’t make sense to me.”
