Seriously guys and gals … I’m amazed at this thread.
If you’re working with people that you can even seriously think are shaving and changing your statistics and payment amounts … then run to the exit and change partners.
For goodness sake there are literally over two dozen hugely reliable companies that deal straight up with affiliates … don’t get swayed by big promises … deal with the best companies for your players and you’ll also get a fair deal.
Mind you I’ve also seen other threads that try to TAR and FEATHER these companies for bundling, or for having negative rollover, or not cross crediting. But when you stop to think about it – the reason that the good companies do this is that they’ve set up seperate stream and they’re opffring a fair share of overall profits that you bring.
Step up to places like : Reward Affiliates, Bet365, Ladbrokes, PaddyPower, Brightshare, Betfair, and tens of others who have the size and scale and/or reputation that puts them head and shoulders above the rest.
The headline percentage or fringe benefits may not seem as high, but your stats are true, and your players remain. Stick with the best – and know that you’re getting a fair deal.
Bad companies can “seem” to offer better deals – but if they’re shaving then who knows what you are really getting a share of?
– Slick promises, big marketing, huge bonus offers … (or so it seems)
– Poor customer retention, missing customers, bad affiliate managers, slack responses … (as it is)
90% of the complaints we see are from part-time or newbie affiliates who’ve been attracted by the hype and glitz of these crappy companies. Experienced affiliates know to simply delete the email, and get off the phone when they contact us.
If your serious about this business, then partner ONLY with serious businesses.
