Playtech – as an affiliate manager for a playtech brand it was very easy…FAR TOO EASY to alter tags on player accounts. But being a responsible, trustworthy and professional affiliate manager this was never abused.
Microgaming – Two things with MG. Firstly there is no way for me as an affiliate manager to alter affiliate tags to shave your stats. Secondly, not even MG will alter tags for us in order to remove or add affiliate tags. This was discovered during our beta testing for my current casino where tracking was being tested.

Hmmm.. but I have had player accounts added to my affiliate account who weren’t originally there. Or maybe it was just 2nd tier sub affiliates. I’ve also had them alter my own player account on occasion when I accidentally ended up on my own tag and needed that removed.
