When I start to promote a program, I make it based on the program’s reputation I find here, on AGD, on GPWA, etc. When the program goes through these filters, they start at 100% trust from me, because how else I could build a business with someone without trust?

Of course we affiliates cannot see behind the curtain, but if we don’t trust at all in the programs we promote, then why we promote them at all?

The pie is big enough for both parties. Do we get enough share of the pie? Most likely (remember, gambling affiliation is the most lucrative affiliate business online, noone could come up with something similar so far afaik). Are there situations when we don’t get our share? Most likely. There will be always shady operations in any business fields. Stay away from them. These shady programs will be identified and thanks for forums like CAP they get publicity by other affiliates, so you can avoid them.

Regarding the sometimes rude questions from affiliates: I don’t know why some feels that by being rude they will get further, being an affiliate means a business relationship for me with the programs, and like in real life I wouldn’t shout at my clients, why should I shout at an affiliate manager? There are people on the other side of the partnership too, give respect and you get respect (and most of the time quicker problem solving and more attention from your manager – EVEN if you are a smaller affiliate!!!).

My 2 cents :hattip:
