I think you are taking it the wrong way and I probably should have spelled it out a little better.
Example is CasinoX, they have a reputation for converting and retaining with no issues. So you try them and get 20 new depositing players in your first month but are negative because one person won 4k so you get no commission for that month. If you are going to say I didn’t make any money off of this one program then you could be throwing away a program that could find you some gem players. This is why I am echoing what Gooner said for the 3-6 months. I mean first find a program that has a decent reputation to begin with and try them out.
I was chatting with one affiliate recently about this. He said he wasn’t happy with the stats this month for a specific program but I said that program has a good rep and most affiliates are happy promoting them.
When you first promote any casino program there are a lot of signup bonuses given out. Your first month might not indicate how well these players are going to perform. Who knows the next month could have a whale in the next batch of players you have while the players generated from last month are generating more income while taking regular incentives and not highly loaded signup bonuses.
