If these 141 gaming sites do in fact comply and block traffic to KY, this will obviously set an ugly precedent for the remaining 50 states and gambling. I am hoping that all these gambling sites are re-registering their domains outside the US with alternate names. This will require them to use affiliates more than ever, since these new domain names won’t get the search engine ranking that their existing names enjoy.
On a separate note, I am working with an attorney in my state, to have the following industries (and their corresponding 5,098,678 websites) have their domain names confiscated, due their immoral effect on society (and yes, I’m using the KY decision of yesterday as the basis for my precedent):
– Pornography
– Horse Racing
– Lotteries
– Credit Card Companies
– Mortgage Companies
– Cigarette companies
– Alcohol companies
….just to name a few…….
