This is about so much more than online gambling. If it goes through, it basically sets the precedent that the US government can confiscate any website from it’s owner if they don’t like the content. It’s censorship on the same level as the old Russia and China.
If ICANN comply with any request, then you have to also wonder about their future, or lack of it, and the future of the Internet in general.
