I work from home and my kids are out til 2pm.
I don’t drink coffee so my work breaks include putting on some laundry or emptying the dishwasher (what fun!)
Once kids get home there is no work time til 8pm unless its basic email checking.
The system works for me and also means I have good tax breaks on household expenses 
I personally have a lot of discipline so it makes life easier
