The american people are not lazy folks looking for a hand out, but if we all have to pay taxes then WHY can’t we use the money to help out folks like you mentioned above?

Actually I dont think the banks and credit card com companies should eb responsible,I get credit card offers all the time and throw them in the garbage.Just because a bank offers you credit or a 50 year mortgage is no reason to take it.If peopel go bankrupt over stupidity that;s their problems and no i dont think you should pay for them or governements should pay.if a 400,000 house has a 600,000 mortgage then of course the bank will write it off.If a person has stock in that bank then of course they will then have a loss but for every day Americans be drawn into that mess than i say no.
As for my friend who has the debt ,she took too many vacations ,gambled too much and no you shouldn’t have to help her either.
As for Iraq , I don’t think anyone wants to pay for that war but your government went in there ,spent the money and cant go back now.Who should pay for it if not the American Government which trickles down to the American People?Some people think Iraq should pay for it or at least rebuild their own countryNobody is accusing americans of being lazy ,just look at this forum ,most americans here work 10-16 hour days.
