This has been the way that Casino Rewards has worked for years. This was discussed a number of times back on GPWA when Brent was still the affiliate manager and i think there was a discussion more recently here at cap. This is not something they’ve snuck in. I didn’t like it, so i reduced exposure but did not quit them entirely.
One conversation with a Rewards manager pointed out that not all casinos wipe out negatives and they do. I remember one affiliate, they might post here if they want, was sent a check for thousands from a customer who had deposited $200, won $10,000. then the next month lost it back, he got paid his 30% (or whatever the old rev share was) of the money the player won, his comission was way in excess of the player’s total deposits.
Now that doesn’t mean the cross promo is ok, but let’s not think of them as having pulled off some sort of change behind our backs, it’s been under our noses for years.
