Hey all.. I’m back after a painful vacation.
While it may not seem logical theoretically to partner with someone (except if you need funding), I totally support you doing it, for a number of reasons.

1- If you’re starting from scratch and have no money, no (or low) investment.

2- You can find someone that completes your weaknesses. He said that he’s good at programming but doesn’t have time / doesn’t want to write content. Sure, you may have made a killing with an 18 pages website, but it’s much easier said than done. Especially when everyone and their mother on this forum constantly say that content is key.

3- Much higher motivation if it’s someone you get along with. Money always causes tension, but if you can actually find someone trustworthy then sharing ideas, talking about plans, just talking about it in general is extremely amusing and motivating.

4- This is just my personal opinion, but I feel like a team provides better time management. In the sense that the nature of this business is that it takes time for websites to develop and grow to their full potential. Time and constant attention. Once your first website is up and has some content, your partner can keep it updated and make it grow while you’re starting a new one. Some recommend focusing on one website, which can also be a valid strategy, but imho you have better chances of hitting big if you build a network of sites that feed each other.

So.. don’t give up on it. I think it’s a great idea. Not necessarily the easiest route but it’s fine. I’m in some trouble right now otherwise I would have been very interested.
