Being an AM is all about being there to help your affiliates any way you can. Just like any good manager you have to reward and criticize to ensure that all things run smoothly and everyone makes money. In this industry though having little to no face to face contact makes criticism a very hard thing to do effectively because they don’t know you well. So it pays to create relationships so that when you have to be serious they will respect you.
As for day to day stuff I get in check my emails and answer them first so that all problems are fixed immediately. I then create monthly mailers to inform my affiliates of any deals or promos. Beyond that I check to see affiliates that haven’t earned in awhile and get all investigative and try to help them earn more.. Cause if they earn so do I.
