I certainly hope 888.com finally explains it themselves as to what their thought process is.
The APCW tries to publicly report facts and avoid speculation. We have always said that it’s not our business to tell webmasters how to run their business… and we stick by that.
To that end, however, 888.com has the choice of addressing this issue at CAP, at AGD and with APCW… or, they can allow us to continue to report the facts as we see them… and we will.
Speaking for the APCW, it was not our intention to cover this story for one week and let it die. We want a resolution. And until we get one, it’s our intention to use all means at our disposal to keep this unethical practice in front of webmasters and players on blogs, message boards, videos and audio podcasts, email blasts, and press releases.
No one in this industry is above answering to their partners and customers for this sort of thing. I hope 888 realizes this soon, because the longer they remain silent the worse they will look.
