The affiliate session at Bingo Summit was short and basic.. and I think an opportunity was missed… but then 45 minutes in a 2 day event isn’t enough to give voice to 2 managers and 4 affiliates.
I kind of see why the summit is for “the industry” – but affiliate marketing is part of that industry and it’d be good next year to see more time dedicated to perhaps showcasing what affiliates and mega affiliates actually do and want from programs – although I did get the feeling that some one or two portal people don’t like to be called “affiliates”.. maybe just me thinking that though?
