I have to agree with Bonustreak…
I think that, whilst interesting, the nature-nuture debate misses the point somewhat.
of far more importance is how we choose to treat other humans. It’s always bothered me that reporting of gay people uses their sexuality as a pre-fix;
…that gay-actor, a homosexual teacher, the lesbian tennis player….
doesn’t happen that way in other walks of life. It’s not as if you could add that pre-fix to every single one of their daily actions. Do they make a gay-cup of tea or perhaps a lesbian-casserole!
Aside from the development of a valid ‘Gay Culture’, whether through music or literature the only time when gay people enage in anything truely ‘gay’ are those bedroom moments that are no body elses business but their own!
