I used to live in San Francisco and had lots of gay friends – my closest friend for 17 years was a gay male.
I always thought people were born into sexual preference, and that it was nature’s way to deal with rapidly growing populations. You see the same in the animal kingdom.
I also think that it’s not a matter of totally gay or totally straight – I think there is a curve and some people really are at the extreme points, but many more are distributed anywhere in between with bisexuals right in the middle.
Society makes you choose, and also, it just makes life a lot simpler to settle on one side or the other. And most people never end up in situations where they try the other side.
I think all this prejudice against gays is a bunch of nonsense. :hattip:
