Oh, and just one other thing before I put my weary sleep head to bed…
Quote from a CPays affiliate friend:
“What’s the point in getting bigger commissions if you don’t actually get paid?”Am I missing something here?
What he is saying is anyone can offer you the best deal out there, but if they don’t pay you your commission then it really is the worst deal.
My opinion of the threat was that Dave was defending himself and CPays, and not threating you. It doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies when someone defends themselves by saying they are no worse then anyone else, but hey its one method. After the initial read it felt like you were looking to start something.
If you want to play it safe, then promote CAP certified programs only. There are a lot to choose from. At least you would have some sort of recourse in case this chat was about your missing commission check. I would say that most of the CAP certified programs want to stay that way, and from my experience the CAP programs rarely get to that point.
As for staying or dropping CPays, I think you already know the answer. Friends tell you don’t promote them, horror stories all over the place with warnings, not certified by CAP, and a chat with a manager that was not especially friendly….why risk it when there are so many better programs out there without the shady past.
