I didn’t see Dave’s words threatening in any way. I think he was just talking a little bs and exagerating a little to say he knows ALL the account managers and to say so confidently that you’ll have problems. He would have really sounded stupid if he was implying he not only knew all the account managers so well, but also had such an influence over all them to create such problems for you. I didn’t see him trying to intimidate you, but rather talking with a bit of a big head to say “Cpays will pay you better and has no more problems then the next guy” (though we know they have many more problems).
