Ok fine, I will do one positive reframe of the situation…..
We are eventually going to be a very legit and regulated business in the US of course. Nobody knows when. I can tell you that this settlement is one more step in that direction. Now, will this settlement serve as a short term headache for many in the business? I am sure. The gov’t wants some money back. They are getting it. They made it clear that they are not going to regulate anything until they get some money back. This is just part of the whole process.
