I have worked in the past for an affiliate program that offered backgammon. To be profitable the operators must have good liquidity in order for the players to be able to find other good players to play with.
I suggest that you target Greece, Turkey and Israel, which have a tradition for backgammon and a good internet access rate.
In countries of the Middle East, it is very common to see people on the street and on the beach, playing backgammon but targeting these countries will be a lot harder due to internet access issues.
