GPWA is another great resource
but none of these systems is a Union or anything remotely similar, so I disagree. a Union is what gives these tools teeth. it would not be re-inventing the wheel – what it would be is the sharpening of teeth.
Blacklisting sites or rouge lists are a crude form of unionizing. The only difference would be to have an organization that could speak on behalf of your blacklists / rouge lists as one unified voice. Often I’ve seen this quote thrown around here
“Maybe it’s time to blacklist them, who’s in?”
Have you said this before? If you have, you are basically trying to unionize. And I have seen this be very effective.
A union is just a unified voice saying this same thing, at the same time, preferably with some frightening numbers behind us. Why would a casino submit to a union? Because another casino can open that is perfectly willing to play a straight hand, and that scares the shit out of them. They submit because if a good group comes in, they are out of business immediately.
I for one would support such an idea, however I would not think it would be an easy task. I’d even donate resources.
