We did get a delicious hamper basket unexpectedly in mid-year. I was a tasty surprise and we thanked the AM directly via email.
Unfortunately (as I expected) the basket then came with a hard push to give the program more exposure, higher placements and better reviews.
The AM had read “hard ball selling 101” was trying to leverage off the $200 gift to get thousands of dollars worth of exposure – almost but not quite stating “look we sent you a food parcel” …
:sarcasm:My relationship with the program is now at a low ebb – because they did not understand why I said No.
And it’s THAT experience that makes me say – send an email or card by all means – but sending anything bigger is suspisciously like trying to attach strings.
Exactly, people that omplain because they didnt get as much as X or programs that expect somthing in return are all bad, its all about a tiny reward to make people happy if they performed well for a said program. I didnt get a lot of things other didnt but hell how can you complain about a free gift?
just take these for what they are and have fun!!
