Method 2 – if for some reason you have passed through immigration already, or are going to stay in HK first, look at the graphic above – once you have passed immigration, you can take the Airport Express into town – if you are going straight to Macau, book the ticket to Hong Kong Station. The cost is HK$100 and the trip is 22 minutes.

Once you have arrived at Hong Kong Station (where, by the way, you can check in for your return flight if you don’t use method 1), go up to the second floor (I think… LOL…) and look for signs pointing to the Elevated Walkway. You are in the International Finance Centre (IFC).

Find the directions to the Shun Tak Centre – also known as the Macau Ferry Terminal – and you can walk to the Macau Ferry in about 10-15 minutes – or you can take a taxi but that might actually take longer.

At the Shun Tak Centre, go up to the departure floor – look for the TurboJet ticketing counters, and make sure you are buying a MACAU ferry ticket. Jetfoils run every 15-30 minutes, and cost varies but should be around HK$150 for an economy class ticket and $250 for a Super Class ticket (described in the last post).

Once you have purchased your ticket, make sure you leave enough time to go through Immigration, which could take 10-15 minutes. The departure gates are on the same floor as the ticketing counters.

The ride is about one hour long. When you arrive, you will be at the Macau Ferry Terminal in Macau, and you can hop on one of the shuttle buses.

Return journeys are all easily handled at the Macau Ferry terminal in Macau – but let’s get you to Macau first! :)

Look forward to seeing everyone there!

Ah – and one last thing – Simmo and I are on the 19:10 ferry to Macau, direct from HK airport, on the 26th – so anyone wanting to join up there is more than welcome.
