WOW! TY so much everyone for your replies and pm’s. This is going to be tougher then I thought. I did have a commit lozenge first thing when I got up today and I do have to say, I didn’t crave a cig. But then, I got aggrivated, ripped apart the house and found a pack:( I obviously need to find another way to deal with stress.
I really DO want to quit! I did go through the house and there is not another pack here. I obviously cannot have them in the house. There are 3 cigs left in the pack that I found and it may sound silly but, I just can’t throw them out. I will NOT buy another pack! I refuse! When the 3 are gone, it’s back to suckin’ on the lozenges and am off to check on the book that Renee suggested.
I do feel imbarrassed and so weak that I smoked today. Especially after asking all of you for help. I keep telling myself, I am only human and as humans, we slip and make mistakes. It’s not helping much, though.
Anyone who quit have a suggestion for dealing with stress instead of picking up, “the crutch”?
