I’m surprised that the salaries are so low. It doesn’t make sense. think about it. An affiliate manager has to organize and try to excel the program. If I was an affiliate manager and making $1000 per month, I’d get resentful after a while watching affiliates make serious money, while I was busting my hump for them (Why did I say “hump”, I don’t know where that came from). It’s just human nature. Is that why there’s a high grade of “turnover” of affiliate managers?

Although I’m not willing to discuss my salary in an open forum as I believe it’s a personal thing… I would like to add to this quote above that this is probably why you see some aff managers lose it from time to time. We don’t make as much as some people think we do – and yes, we do have to put up with some *crap* from time to time.
$1000/m is a bit low in my opinion. I can’t imagine any aff manager making 1k per month unless they were living in a country where the cost of living wasn’t very high. However I do envy those aff managers making 6k per month. That’s about the extent of my input though. :)
