We are about to launch our poker and hopefully a half decent AP!
I have seen this issue many times before. Previous poker sites i have worked with have had exactly the same issues. Perhaps if affiliates want to seriously push poker they need to vet their own database before offering a freeroll.
The result of what happens at present is the affiliate makes less income (freerollers) and so does the site.
Casinos have been dealing with this (reputable) issue with bonuses for many years and have never been supported by the affiliate, now perhaps the affiliate is affected.
Affiliates and online gaming operators should work together to tackle this. Poker / Bingo are ultimate aquistion tools – both just need to manage what traffic is sent to each other.
