Certainly the preofessors example shows poor business practice – how you can award 191% credits – with the bulk being at the managers decision is beyond me.

In this case it does seem likely that manager credits are being used to defraud the affiliate. And that reflects the variable quality of RTG owners.
But – when used correctly – you can’t expect to be paid out for the “funny money” either. It must come off the gross win.
Although the most accurate calculation would actually be to not subtract any credits that are still sitting in players account – this would get around the shonky manager credit tactic.
But I do imagine it would be a trickier piece of maths.
