I appreciate the thoughts of stopping spam, especially in PMs, however, I think that so much aggression because of one pm into your inbox a tad over the top. I got one too, decided not to respond and may come back to it at a later stage. If, however, I get another one soliciting me without me ever responding to the initial one, then, yes – I would consider it spam.
How many solicitations do you receive in your emails? Affiliate programs, link exchanges, special offers etc etc. These can also all be considered spam. But how would I ever contact anybody for a link exchange idea if I do not either email them or as happens on the boards here pms. I get them, many people get them and more often than not result in a good deal.
bb1webs brought up a suggestion as to where these could be posted, but I must be honest, I don’t read over section on the board and also tend to wait for ages before I add any new approved program. Lethargic, lazy, whatever 
but that is the case.
Sooooo—- after that long ramble and half of you fast asleep sleeping.g all I actually wanted to say is that maybe one pm sent is not something to get all that worked up about.. two pms to the same tune from the same group, yes…
