…I really feel for the people stung by the US NETeller debacle, but it’s the US government’s fault, nobody elses…

Most people around this industry used Neteller for years as the best option for e-money management. On the last months the same people says the worst about Neteller. I understand that it is frustrating having the money tied but please remember that the US Government created this mess in the first place disrespecting all international laws and trade agreements.

All this mess is also frustrating for Neteller. They created a really good business from scratch, they have grown it, and at some point the US Government just have tried to destroy it. I’m sure people at Neteller would prefer to have all your money paid, instead of being tied, and to continue business as always. They are paying to European accounts in 2-3 days as in the past. This is a clear sign that they don’t do the same with US accounts because they can’t. Why would they deliberately destroy a market that may be responsible for 80% of their earnings?

If gambling transfers will persist as a business in the future, then there is no other company more able to do that than Neteller. If Neteller can’t, I don’t believe Moneybookers or Ecocard can.
