Remember that the new stats are two or three days behind, for whatever reason. Yep — while most programs are moving toward live, real-time stats, Vegas Affiliates is going the other way, launching a crap-ass system where the newest data is 3 days old.
Anyway — when you compare the new to the old, you have to set the old stats so that the “end date” matches the most recent data in new stats. If you don’t do that, then the stats will never match up since the old stats contain more data than the new stats.
Hope that makes sense!
When I compared my stats a couple of months ago, things like clicks, downloads, number of players, etc. matched “pretty closely,” but the only thing that matched exactly, 100% of the time was the amount deposited at each casino. That was the most important thing to me. It showed that the new system was working at least as well as the old system.
I do give them credit for leaving the old stats online while they construct the new system. At least we have the chance to compare the old to the new… many programs would simply make the switch without giving anyone a chance to view both systems at once.
