You make a very good point Gooner. The deomcrat vs. republican issue did occur to me, but not in nearly as much detail as you’ve relayed Which I suppose is wy I posted my thoughts in the first place – to see how many holes could be found in my theory… Honestly, the idea occured to me only because I’ve played so many historical strategy games (Genghis Khan, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, etc.) and as the “ruler” I pulled the same kind of trick many times to collect extra taxes *L* (mental note to self – never run for public office! :angel: )
