Not at all. Why should someone need a little R? Trademarks are also established in use.

An official letter? If you are profiting from someone’s trademark, they might smack you so hard, that you don’t get up. You need to educate yourself before you play this game. I say that in a friendly way.
Them not making some agreement now does not mean that they won’t have recourse later. OTOH, if they don’t protect a trademark, they can lose their protected status. That doesn’t happen in a few weeks.
You need to look into trademark issues, and you also need to look into UDRP proceedings.
If you made an agreement to sell, and they haven’t followed through, the first thing you should do is revoke your offer.
