My Aff Mgr said that they couldn’t procure off-shore banking that would facilitate payment in US dollars. It’s up to you, if you want to believe that or not.
They were a major player of mine, and this loss will be great for me. They always treated me well, but their exit is extremely abrupt, and very contradictory to their mantra over the last couple of months — which was that they were in the US for the long haul. Even after the Tribeca announcement several months back, they continued to state that they would be a U.S. force to be reckoned with. Blah, blah, blah….
