My take on this is if you put *anything* up on the domain that relates to gambling, It could probably be taken as showing your “intent” in using their brand recognition to your advantage. Put up something non-gambling related I say, or better still, use it to direct punters to them with an affiliate tag – you’ll both be happy then 
Here’s something else you might consider, though only if its a top-notch casino. I spotted a domain (variant) of a well-known online casino on Ebay, bought it, then phoned the casino aff program up and gave it to them to pass on for free. Ever since they’ve sent me invites to sports functions, given me some “flexibility” on requests and we have a pretty good rapport now.
