I assume that domain name you have is undeveloped?
Or that they’re not interested in the development you’ve made ?
If so then you’ve effectively got a domain name that is their trade mark – and if they wanted to – they could probably sue and take that domain name from you ….

So what you need to do is to pitch it at a price that gets you a tidy profit – and is also cheap enough for them that paying you is the simple and smart move.
I would agree with you that a price of Euro 5K seems a good pitch and you probably should add a bit more on … in order to let them knock you down a bit.

10K might be a psychological barrier …
so try 8K and accept anything between 5-8K …
But make sure you get it all signed down in a contract.
