Can you imagine what would happen if when a player made a deposit with Visa their player account wasnt credited until weeks later when the casino received the actual funds? Not very condusive to business is it?
They credit the player immediately, in good faith, based on the successful transaction record from the processor. If they are unable to collect those funds from the processor at a later date then this does behave as a chargeback.
