Am I reading this correctly? They attempted to pay some affiliates, and a payment processor grabbed the funds instead of forwarding it? And now they essentially want to say the affiliate is out the money? That’s ridiculous.
A chargeback is when a player reneges on their deposit.
Trouble with a payment processor holding funds that were in transit is not an affiliate responsibility, and is definitely not a chargeback.
What’s next? “Our office health insurance went up by 20% last month, so all affililate commissions will now be reduced by 20%.”
Hopefully, this is just a badly worded email, and the issue isn’t as described.
