Perhaps you need to state the cooperative relationship in large friendly letters so the readership understands it isn’t a “them or us” choice ..

I think virtually everyone does understand that a good cooperative relationship between the GPWA and CAP is important. I have gotten nothing but strong positive feedback from the membership for adopting that approach. We all share a goal of helping the portal webmaster community, and we do that best by working together.
