Actually, I remember reading that if the WTO ruling is in favor of Antigua, which it appears to be, and the US goes against this ruling, in retribution, Antigua will not have to adhere to current digital media trade restrictions imposed by the US, for the sale of CD’s, DVD’s, software, etc.

What this implies is that little ‘ol Antigua could make illegal copies of this media, and sell them for pennies on the dollar, thus having the effect of driving prices for these items down enormously. Needless to say, the industries effected would have a major cow over this.

Again, this is all based on the info articulated several months back, from the defense attorney ( some lawyer from Texas), who is representing Antigua.

You can bet that the US response will be “I’ll do whatever I damn please, regardless of any ruling”.
