Give me the best player in the world. Give me a bad player who understands nothing. The bad player shall chase every hand until the river.
What would the conclusion be? Would any skill and/or experience the best player has make any difference at all in this game? I dont think so, I figure it would be based 100% in luck of the draw.
Since the idiot does not understand odds he doesn’t play them; they see every river card so skill is in no way a condition met in this particular game. Over the long run I would expect that both will win and both will lose the same amount.
I’m not saying that a level of skill can’t exist after the deal, but I have seen more people win solely on luck than I ever have based all on skill. With that understanding I have no problem with the game being labeled a game of chance and not skill.
