Hard for me to believe that one link of what seemingly looks like 1000s, is going to make that much difference.
Of course, I don’t know shoot from shinola when it comes to those things … but it sure seems to me you’d need to be listed on 1000s of sites like that to even make a dent because if I were google (or another SE) I’d be taking into consideration that its an obvious attempt to boost SERPS and therefore not give much if any credit for such links.
Now that said; it seems to be the norm in many cases.
Seems to me to be a forumula that has a lot of inherent flaws for finding a most relevant webpage.
