Nothing personal, but I would never promote any program with this clause (knowingly). If the cost of checks is an issue, then by all means make it clear that this cost is offset against affiliate earnings, I’m sure no-one would have a problem with that.

But my personal feeling is if I have sent a customer to a casino under an existing agreement, and they continue to profit from that customer, then I would expect the bounty for the same period, irrespective as to whether I continue to promote that property or not.

Furthermore, to apply this retroactively to past agreements is also unethical.
