It hangs off VISA and is usable “where ever VISA is accepted”.

Credit card companies have carefully categorised everyone of their merchants, and that’s why they were rather quickly able to stop US cards (and Singaporian Cards) from being used at gambling sites.
Every VISA transaction contains a merchant reference number and a SIC (Standard Industry Code) code.
Basically unless the merchant is being very “subtle” it will say gambling.
By subtle I mean not actually declaring the gambling subgroup and instead “fudging” and saying “entertainment” or “software” group or somesuch.

I don’t see how this is any difference to just having a VISA card – and unless the credit card companies are being willfully obstructive they can already determine exactly what “SIC group” each transaction is for.
Let us know how this works out mate – but I’m not convinced it helps American affiliates or players.
